Our handbell choirs joyfully serve God with heart and hands. No prior experience is required, and all are welcome to join, at any age!
Children:
Chorister Program (Grades 2-5)
The Third Church Choristers is a fully funded music program for children in grades 2-5. The Choristers rehearse on Wednesdays during the program year, where they receive education & instruction in vocal singing, worship education, musicianship, and group keyboard lessons each week. The Choristers Sing monthly during our 10am Worship Service. As part of this program, Choristers receive periodic lessons in Handbell ringing. Please visit our Chorister page to learn more.
Youth:
Youth Bell Choir (Grades 6-12)
Sundays 4:45pm-5:30pm (Rehearsals are postponed during Covid-19)
A handbell choir where youth learn the basics and the art of bell-ringing. All are welcome, even if they’ve never played before. The Youth Bell Choir meet periodically throughout the program year to ring at services and special events.
Adult:
Celebration Ringers
Thursday, 10:45am-11:45am
An informal bell choir, meeting weekly to learn and master different techniques and perform repertoire at numerous times throughout the church year at worship.
Third Church Ringers
Thursday, 5:45pm-6:45pm
A handbell choir for the more advanced ringer, performing regularly both in worship and in outreach around the city. This choir performs more regularly, and works on more advanced techniques and more challenging repertoire.
