Sunday Seminar on Restorative Justice

Our 9:30 am Sunday Seminar will focus on opportunities for Restorative Justice in our community.

March 8 – There is no Peace without Justice.

Kathy Sweetland, board president of Partners in Restorative Initiatives, will introduce us to the healing practice of restorative justice. What is it, and where is it helping in our community? Do we know of situations in our community where restorative practices could be helpful?

Kathy joined the board of Partners in Restorative Initiatives in 2009 and has served as its president since 2012. She retired from the University of Rochester in 2012 to devote her energies working more closely with Partners in Restorative Initiatives.
