2027 Organ Tour
Join renowned concert organists Renée Anne Louprette and Nathan Laube on a tour through nine of Europe’s most interesting pipe organs. Hear beautiful music, learn organ history, and even see an organ as it is being built. The tour will include several organs built by the Rieger Orgelbau of Schwarzach, Austria and will end with a visit to their own atelier. In addition to all the glorious music, travelers will enjoy charming historic sites, local food specialities, and spectacular scenery.
Renée Anne Louprette
Director of Music Ministries & Organist, Third Presbyterian Church
Nathan Laube
Associate Professor of Organ at the Eastman School of Music
Physical Activity Rating
A fair amount of walking most days, ranging from 1 to 3 miles on average per day during scheduled activities. Travelers should be able to board transportation, walk over sometimes-uneven terrain including cobblestone, climb a few flights of stairs occasionally without handrails or assistance (elevators might not always be available at sights or hotels), and ride in a vehicle for up to 6 hours at a time.
