Plenty Good Room: A Lenten Bible Study Based on African American Spirituals

Join Pastor Tedd Pullano discussing this unique study that combines an in-depth look at Scripture, slavery, and the music and lyrics of six African American spirituals. Using the lens of African American history, this study moves from the Transfiguration through the wilderness to the Last Supper and Good Friday. In the context of slaves and slavery, we will explore the spirituals’ power to heal, to soothe and to strengthen. The title reflects the reality that in God’s kingdom, there is room for all, regardless of race, economic status, gender identity, ethnicity, or ability.
