Jobs, Health, and Housing in Rochester
November 21 @ 8:45 am - 9:45 am
Welcome RASE Commissioners Mitch Gruber and Damond Wilson, for this third and final seminar in the Deep Dives into the Racial And Structural Equity Commission’s Report and Recommendations series. In a conversation moderated by our own Laurie Mahoney, they will discuss recommendations specific to the intersection of Jobs, Housing, and Healthcare in the Rochester region. This will be an interactive time to learn about and discuss key recommendations, progress towards implementation, additional insights and thoughts, and your questions. Where might Third Church, and we as individuals, align our time, energy, and resources?
Please join us remotely using this Google Meet link. Alternately, if you will be attending worship in the Sanctuary, you may join a GoogleMeet “hotspot” in the Celebration Center using Third Church’s guest WiFi (password: WelcometoThird!).
Mitch Gruber is a City Councilmember and the chief partnerships officer at Foodlink. He holds a PhD in history from the University of Rochester.
Damond Wilson, currently works as a program and case manager for Spiritus Christi prison outreach, and is an administrative officer and volunteer with Beyond the Sanctuary. He recently received his master’s in Divinity in 2019, and was the President of the Black Student Caucus at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.
