Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival

After a pandemic hiatus, the wonderful tradition of our Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival returns for its 14th edition in January 2023! This multi-generational pageant with over 100 cast and choir members dates back to the 14th century, and blends the secular elements of a Royal Court, with sacred elements such as The Holy Family, Shepherds, and Three Kings in a visually and musically spectacular celebration of Epiphany.
This year’s festival will offer two performances, eagerly awaited by many in the Rochester community, on Saturday, and Sunday, January 7 and 8, both at 4:00pm, with pre-festival music beginning at 3:30pm. General seating begins at 3:15pm. Masking is strongly encouraged, but not required.
