Blue Lights: Holocaust Remembrance Day

Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah) is April 17-18 this year. To commemorate this solemn occasion and to show our solidarity with the Jewish community in Rochester and around the world, we will again be participating in ROC Against Antisemitism’s Blue Light Project on these days. Antisemitism is rising scourge in our nation; now is the time to publicly resist hatred and prejudice. The blue lights in our bell tower and at the Meigs Street entrance will visibly demonstrate support for our Jewish friends, with whom we have a special kinship and a common history. May we, too, shine the light of peace and justice in all we do.
