AntiRacism’s Fall 2024 Congregational Training
An event every week that begins at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until November 13, 2024
Third Church’s Anti-Racism Team is tasked with educating and guiding us–as individuals and as a congregation–into becoming more anti-racist. This fall, we’re offering an exciting, intensive training experience for anyone in our church family to learn about dismantling structural racism and working toward our Matthew 25 goals.
The training is a 5-week Anti-Racism small group session on Wednesdays starting Oct 16th at 5:30 with breaking bread together followed by 90 minutes of facilitated interactive deep dives. The sessions are an improved, revamped version of the “Hand on the Pole” training we conducted last spring.
We will meet in Celebration Center on October 16th, but in Johnston Hall for the subsequent trainings.
