Andy Nagel Memorial Organ Recital

Andy Nagel, a long-time Chancel Choir member and friend of Third Church, died in late 2021.  In lieu of a memorial service, his wish was to sponsor an organ recital, as music was such an integral part of his life.

He initially wanted four organists to perform – all had brought him joy over the past 50 years.  They included Bob Parris, Jonathan Biggers, Jamie Bobb, and Peter DuBois.  Unfortunately, Bob and Jonathan preceded Andy in death, but Jamie and Peter will perform this program, providing an uplifting experience for family, friends, and congregation.

Music will be offered by J. S. Bach (Andy’s favorite!), Thomas Arne, Max Reger, Robert Schumann, and Charles-Marie Widor.  The program may be enjoyed in person or online at this link.   Please join us in honoring and remembering Andy!
