Enneagram Class

September 19 @ 11:15 am - 12:30 pm

Third Church member Beth Streuver, a retired psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker, is excited to share the wisdom of the Enneagram with you. She will be leading a free class for interested Third Church members and friends over ten weeks this fall.

“Three decades ago I discovered THE ENNEAGRAM, a modern body of knowledge with roots in the world of the ancient Christian and Sufi Desert Mothers and Fathers. At that time I was in search of useful, accessible information to help me with high functioning clients who were coming to a therapist just because there was more on their plate than they could possibly manage. This information was helpful, practical, and focused on a health rather than an illness model.

“Since that time I have introduced several hundred people to Enneagram studies. The first ten lessons are a master class in the delightful and intriguing differences in human beings. For a parent who wants to better understand and support a child who is wired differently from them, or a manager with a challenging employee, or even better, a couple in a long term relationship, this is invaluable information.

“For me, The Enneagram is like an owners manual for humans. If you want to ‘know yourself,’ this is the ticket. I was already on a spiritual journey when I found it. My path has been more plain ever since. Please, let me encourage you to make a commitment this fall to study Enneagram.

The textbook that I use for my beginning classes is called:
The Wisdom Of The Enneagram, by Don Riso and Russ Hudson. It is available in bookstores and through Amazon.”

An Introduction to the Enneagram, Sundays 11:30am-12:15pm. Participants must commit to all ten classes, and registration will be limited. Please contact Becky D’Angelo-Veitch at rveitch@thirdpresbyterian.org for more information or to sign up.
