Anti-Racism Team Update
Join us on March 12 for the 2022 Greater Rochester Antiracist Education Virtual Conference: Teaching, Action, Equity, & Justice. 9:00am – 3:00pm.
The conference will feature two keynote presentations from Dr. Bettina Love, author of We Want To Do More Than Survive and Dr. Decoteau J. Irby, author of Stuck Improving: Racial Equity and School Leadership and breakout sessions led by local youth, educators and activists. Join Cheryl Sampson on Saturday, February 19 at 1:00pm for a Zoom presentation about the Reverend Thomas James. Reverend James was the most well-known abolitionist preacher in 19th century America, and is now buried in Rochester’s Mt. Hope Cemetery. This event is hosted by the Rochester Public Library.
