April will feature a series from Third Church’s Pastor Emeritus Roderic P. Frohman on “Third Church’s (Almost) Christian Socialist Pastor, Paul Moore Strayer”, who served from 1903 to 1925. In the first quarter of the 20th century, America went through a major social transformation, including an adoption of the “social gospel.” At Third Presbyterian Church, this change was largely due to the leadership of its pastor, Paul Moore Strayer. Click here for video (and other resources) for each class. The classes are discussions of the videos. Participants are highly encouraged to view each video before each class.
