Special WorshipFirst Monday Evening PrayerPraying in Community 7:00 pm - ChapelIn a busy world, come for a time of prayer and quietness. Third Church gathers for times of prayer and reflection. These 30-40 minute services of prayer, music and contemplation in the Third Church Chapel provides a meaningful addition to our worship life. Come and be renewed by sacred word and song from a variety of liturgical traditions and experiences. All are welcome to these services - young and old, member, visitor, seeker. Special ServicesBaptisms at Third ChurchBaptisms for those of all ages are celebrated in the context of Sunday worship. For the baptism of infants or children, it is our usual practice that at least one of the parents of the child be a Third Church member. Baptisms are scheduled after a consultation with John Wilkinson, and are approved by the Session. Funerals and Memorial Services at Third ChurchAt the time of death, Third Church seeks to provide pastoral care and support. It is always appropriate for funerals and memorial services to be held at the church. Please contact the church office at 271-6537 for information. Weddings at Third ChurchIf you are considering a wedding at Third Church, it is very important to be in contact with the church prior to scheduling. The church has produced a wedding booklet which will answer many of your questions regarding weddings. No weddings will be scheduled without a consultation with a member of the pastoral staff.
