Aaron

Aaron
Doll originally hails from West Seneca, NY. He has B.A. degrees in
Human Services and Psychology with a concentration in Early Childhood Studies
from The University of Buffalo. Following college Aaron served a year as
a Volunteer in Mission for the First Presbyterian Church of Skagway, Alaska
where he directed youth and young adult ministry. His Master of Divinity
was completed at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in 1998. While
in Louisville Aaron also worked as a student intern with the Presbyterian
Church (U.S.A.) Mission Service recruitment office for two semesters and
following seminary as Volunteer Teams Organizer with Presbyterian Disaster
Assistance.
In October of 2000 Aaron joined the
Third Church pastoral staff in his first ordained call as Pastor for Christian
Nurture. He has oversight of the Children’s Ministry , Youth Ministry
and Adult Faith Education programs. Aaron’s special joy is to teach
the 9th grade commissioning class each year.
Aaron is married to Rachel Doll who
is a home childcare provider and Creative Memories Scrapbook Consultant.
They enjoy their home in Irondequoit with their two dogs, Cameron and Chewbacca.
Aaron’s hobbies include hiking, camping, reading fiction, theology, collaborative
storytelling, pottery, and working on the house.
