Israel/Palestine Overture and Book Study, 2006
An Overture on Israel/Palestine
was approved by Session regarding divestment from
companies doing business in Israel/Palestine. Next, this Overture
will be reviewed by the Presbytery of Genesee Valley.
The presentation at a January 28, 2006 Presbytery study session
on the Overture is available here
in pdf format.

This accord, an unnofficial draft agreement worked out in 2003 between
well-known Palestinian and Israeli delegates, is considered by some
as a possible starting point for future peace negotiations.
A Middle East Book Study is planned for early 2006. For more information
