The City will again sponsor a Summer Food Service Program for children
funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Free lunches will be available
to those age 18 years old and under.
Lunches will be served Mon.-Fri., from Fri., June 28, through Fri.,
Aug. 27, at approximately 110 sites, including community agencies, selected
schools and recreation centers. All lunches must be consumed at each
site's designated lunch area during the scheduled lunch hour, which varies
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., site to site.
A breakfast program will also be available at about 60 sites. Breakfasts
must also be consumed at each site's designated breakfast area during
the scheduled times, which begin between 7:30 and 9 a.m., depending on
the site, and last for about an hour.
Free meals are provided regardless of race, color, sex, handicap, age,
religion or national origin. If you feel someone has been discriminated

D.C. 20250.
