Neighborhood Housing Services of Rochester

 

The mission of this organization, now in its 25th year, is to systematically provide housing-related financial, educational, and technical services and resources that revitalize and sustain Rochester city neighborhoods.

These services and resources are provided to a wide spectrum of the community with financial support from partners includi banks, insurance companies, churches, and corporations such as Kodak, Xerox and Bausch and Lomb. By supporting this organization we at Third make a major contribution to the welfare of our City. Because of how well services are provided NHSR ranks 15 among about 200 such organizations throughout the country.

The year 2004 will see NHSR embark on a new business plan whereby they will be concentrating on two or three neighborhoods thereby emphasizing the value of revitalizing neighborhood by neighborhood in order to have the greatest impact. There will continue to be help to any qualified person seeking it.
