Volunteers at the Food Cupboard

Food Cupboard is heavily dependent on volunteers to maintain such a vibrant operation. About 60 individuals have committed to the following opportunities:

Would you like to help?

• Sundays - 2 or 3 individuals or families stock the Hall Closet
• Monday and Thursdays - 3 or 4 volunteers arrive before 9AM, prepare bags & greet clients until 11:45AM.
  Many substitutes are important to support the volunteers.
• Tuesdays - 1 or 2 volunteers again stock the Hall Closet
• Wednesdays - 1 or 2 volunteers organizer the storeroom & put away new food from Foodlink or the congregation
• Shoppers - several volunteers buy food as needed from Wegmans, Aldiís, Walmart
• Drivers - every Tuesday a volunteer with a van or other larger vehicle picks up a large order from Foodlink
