Dining Room MinistryThen Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." John 6:35DRM has been serving a warm, delicious and nutritious meal each Saturday at 11:30 a.m. since 1991. Ten teams of 9-12 volunteers each, backed by meal planners, shoppers and bakers, provide a meal on a rotating schedule (See Meal Schedule). We serve over 3,000 meals per year to people of all ages. Our guests are economically diverse ñ from those who are homeless to those living on low or fixed incomes. Our volunteers are mostly church members but we welcome all who are interested in serving as a member of a team every ten weeks, as a substitute, or just once to see what itís like. Families are welcome to volunteer with us. This is also a great opportunity for high school students, scout troops, or other youth organizations to fulfill community service requirements.
