The Dining Room Ministry seeks to serve warm, delicious
and nutritious meals in a safe and caring environment.
Meals are served, to those in need, each Saturday at
11:30 am in the "Celebration Center", the
basement fellowship hall of the Church.
Opening in April 1991, the Dining Room volunteers have
served up to 3,000 meals per year. Dining Room guests
are people of all ages including many who are elderly,
as well as, children. Our guests are economically diverse,
from those who are homeless, to those living on low
or fixed incomes trying to stretch their budget. For
some, the Dining Room offers a place to go out and be
served away from the confines of a small apartment or
a warm place off of the street
Approximately 150 volunteers make this ministry work.
Volunteers are always needed and welcome! A volunteer
may join a serving team and serve once every six weeks.
