The Corner Place

The Corner Place is a small neighborhood outreach center at 969 Monroe Avenue in the heart of the Upper Monroe community. It serves a neighborhood of richly mixed commercial and residential use and of widely diverse ethnic and economic groups.

As a combined effort of Third Presbyterian Church and New Life Presbyterian Church, the Corner Place, through its programs and activities, seeks to build bridges between neighbors and to provide an accessible meeting place for people to come together in this southeast city neighborhood.

How Can You Be Involved?

The success of the Corner Place depends upon small offerings of time and talent from large numbers of people from our churches and our community. We can use people for direct involvement with children, youth and adults for as little as an hour or two or for a weekly commitment.
