Season: Pentecost Symbolism: The grape border is used as a symbol of the Savior, the"true vine". The dove refers to the Spirit descending from heaven, while the flames depict the prescence of the Holy Ghost as described in the second chapter of Acts, when tongues of fire appeared on the heads of the disciples.     Designer: Marta Frutiger Antependium: Jean Hardy Bible Marker I: Betty Crawford Bible Marker II: Betty Crawford Blocking: Peg Clark Memorial: This hanging was given in memory of Marjorie Peacock Harper, a long time member of Third Presbyterian Church.
