Junior Choir Camp
Camp Cory
August 21 - 24, 2000
Twenty children from the Junior Choir and eleven youth counselors spent four wonderful days at Camp Cory on beautiful Keuka Lake. At camp, the children and youth joined with six other area church choirs in learning about singing, ringing handbells, African drumming, drama, Orff Percussion, World Music, and more. Fun activities included soccer, kickball, swimming, campfires, "Capture the Flag", vollyball, tennis, skit night, etc. Each day, the campers celebrated Morning and Evening Prayer. Strong fellowship and a real sense of Christian community developed among the children and youth. Thanks to all of the parents, youth, and children that made the whole week such a wonderful experience.
