New Member Orientation

Everyone is welcome to join Third Church! Our new members come from
many different backgrounds. Some have “grown up” in church
(perhaps it was a Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, Unitarian, United
Church of Christ, or church of another denomination). But for many people,
Third Church is their first church experience.
For anyone who might be inquiring about what
it means to be a church member at Third Church, we offer two sessions
of informal conversation with Third Church pastor John Wilkinson following
the 10:45am worship service:
People who have been members of another church join by letter of transfer
or by reaffirmation of faith. For those who have never been baptized,
a special session is offered to prepare for baptism and a profession
of faith.

New Member Gatherings
Thursday September 23 from 6:00–7:30pm -or-
September 26 from 9:00–10:30am
If you are considering become a member of Third Church, our next
New Member Gatherings will be held on September, Thursday, September
23 from 6:00–7:30pm and Sunday, September 26 from 9:00–10:30am;
you may choose between dates. New members will join at
10:30am on September 26th and be introduced at the 11:15am worship
