Fifteen youth and six adult advisors from Third Presbyterian Church attended Week 6 of the Youth Conference 2001 at the Montreat Conference Center, a mission center of the PCUSA.

The conference involved over 1400 teenagers and advisors in large assemblies, small groups, worship, mission service, and time to enjoy the mountains of Western North Carolina. The theme for the summer was "With These Hands" and was a time of spiritual growth and renewal. It was also a significant chance for our youth to be connected with the larger denomination and its diversity of people and ideas.
