Over 75 Third Presbyterian Church women came out for a wonderful afternoon of tea, treats, poetry and most of all, making and strengthening connections among the women of Third! The ladies present shared their favorite poem, then spent time creating poems together.

Limerick There once were some ladies at tea With hats that were something to see! It was all very fun Until one by one They were stung by a hat hating bee!

Haiku Ladies dressed in hats Sandwiches, cookies and chat Tea parties with friends		Limerick I wanted a hat to be frilly I felt grown-up but quite silly Searching around Oh look what I've found My topper is now quite a dilly!
	Haiku Hats, springtime and tea Deliciously appealing What could be better

Group poem Excitement New friends, old friends Gathering together In the ballroom Twirling and swirling in a sea of movement Like a leaf caught in the river's current It leads us to the gold. Could anything be more exciting?
