Come Caroling With Us!Each year, we try to share some of the joy and wonder of the season by having a caroling party with our neighbors.In 2001, we gathered with our neighbors at Wesley-On-East, just accross the street. As in years past, we enjoyed an informal bell choir concert together, sang Christmas Carols, and finished up with punch and Christmas cookies. This year there were four bell choir groups, led by Chris Lenti. The Freedom Ringers, our newest group, played their first concert to a warm welcome from the residents of Wesley-On-East. The Chapel Bells, our small group of 'ensemble' players, thrilled us with some remarkable playing. How do they play so many bells with so few hands? The Third Church Ringers, our most experienced group, played a variety of Christmas anthems and carols for us. Last, but not least, Marcia Frohman thrilled us with a solo anthem, accompanied by Chris Lenti on keyboard. We also learned that the residents of Wesley-On-East have started their own bell choir. Who knows? Perhaps they will play for us next year?
