Following seminary Rod served as a Pastor and community organizer with an Alinsky-affiliated organization in Philadelphia. In 1977 Rod became the Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Gary, Indiana until 1984 when he became the Senior Pastor of Grace-Trinity Community Church in Minneapolis, a Presbyterian and American Baptist Congregation. Rod joined the staff of Third Church in July of 1998 as the Associate Pastor for Church and Society. He also is the staff person for the Adult Faith Development program. (www.thirdpresbyterian.org/education/index.shtml) Rod spends significant time supporting the eight teams who conduct 40 outreach programs of Third Church. (www.thirdpresbyterian.org/outreach-service/index.shtml) He is the co-founder and President of the Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network. (www.thirdpresbyterian.org/outreach-service/ihn/index.shtml) He is a member of the Martin Luther King Commission of Greater Rochester. Rod's hobbies are baseball and genealogy. Rod's wife Marcia is an Associate Manager of One World Goods. Rod and Marcia have two adult daughters.

Roderic
Frohman, a fourth generation pastor, is a 1967 graduate of the University
of California at Berkeley with a degree in American Intellectual History.
He is twice graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Master
of Divinity Degree in 1971 and a Doctor of Ministry Degree in 1983.
His dissertation was titled, "Pastoral Hospitality With Worship
Visitors in a Multi-Racial Setting."
