Martha Langford - mlangford@thirdpresbyterian.org

Martha Langford is native Houstonian and a graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Rochester and Third Presbyterian Church in August 2008, she served as a Pastoral Resident at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago. This two-year residency is part of the Lilly Endowment’s Transition into ministry program.

Martha holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and served five years as a Communications Officer in the United States Army. During the six years before entering seminary, she served as the Director of Communications for the Presbytery of New Covenant in Houston.

A “cradle” Presbyterian, Martha loves reading, writing, biking, and home improvements. Martha lives with her tabby cat Bits. Her daughter, Carolyn Kelly, is an undergraduate in the University of Houston’s Creative Writing program.
