 Facilities
Sanctuary renovations will address spirituality by going beyond meeting present needs to allowing the congregation, clergy, and choir to be equal partners in a flexible space that can be adapted to worship experiences. Renovations throughout the building will increase stewardship through energy saving and comfort with new mechanical systems and hospitality through better accessibility and space usage. For more on these renovations, see A Campaign Communique: Facilities and Faith for the Future
 Outreach
Third Church proposes to increase its commitment to the City, by partnering with Flower City Habitat for Humanity; the Presbytery, by more involvement in the New Life Presbyterian Church and the Upper Monroe Avenue neighborhood; the Nation, by increasing our commitment to the post-Katrina New Orleans/Gulf Coast; and the World, by advancing a newly formed partnership with the Kihumo Presbyterian Parish, the Presbyterian University in Nairobi, and a medical services exchange with the Medical Benevolence Foundation of the PC (USA). For more, click on A Campaign Communique: Outreach
Endowment
By adding $2 million to the Third Church $6 million endowment, we can sustain our current programs and secure future support. The Session and Trustees have determined that in future years every effort should be made to reduce the annual withdrawal from the church endowment funds to 5%.
